A premium black persimmon variety shipped directly from Japan, renowned for its exceptionally high sweetness and unique aroma of dark brown sugar molasses. The flesh is soft, dense, and creamy, resembling chocolate pudding; it melts in the mouth without any fibrous residue, leaving a rich dark sugar finish with a subtle hint of persimmon. The overall taste is sweet but not cloying, with an enduring sweet aftertaste.

The Japanese black sesame persimmon is the "black pearl" of the persimmon world, with flesh filled with black sesame-like polyphenol specks and an octagonal star pattern when sliced crosswise. Using a unique "tree-ripened de-astringency technique," the fruit is wrapped in plastic bags containing solid ethanol to naturally remove astringency while enhancing sweetness, making it a true "luxury among persimmons"!

Texture: Soft, dense, and creamy, with fine, fibrous-free flesh, extremely high sweetness, and a melt-in-the-mouth, pudding-like consistency.

PAF Tips:
The best time to enjoy is when the fruit has softened and the base feels elastic. If it is still firm upon arrival, keep it at room temperature for 2-3 days. Once the black sesame persimmon reaches its peak, refrigerate it for 2-3 hours before eating for an even better texture! The black dots in the flesh are natural polyphenol particles, not mold, so they are safe to eat!
